Lates news about our first Fashion Show

Hi:

Here me again to keep you posted with the last news about our first Fashion Show. First I need to thank all the ppl that has been involved with me to make this a reality. Through the group I have met wonderful people that are really special and willing to help others as we are in our group.

I will be sending a notice tomorrow about our next meeting with models and designers.

I had today two meetings; one planned and the other not planned but did it to help the girls and designers that couldnt make it to the oficial one.

These are the lates news about the event. I mean the general news.

* Fashion Trend 1st Fashion Show will be January 24 of 2009 at 5 PM SLT.

* We planned to have 5 Designers this time with 12 outfits to show. That will includes for some of them, jewelry and skins too.

* There is a plan to have live music after the event; a live performer. Will say who will be because is a surprise.

* To help our designers and give opportunities to our members to become models there will be a fashion show each month. I will handle it one month with the group models and an Agency that I will tell later will be handling it the next month. That mean that our group girls and boys will have a chance to model every other month.

* If the group continue to grow at it has been since created in September 9 of 2008 maybe we will end up doing two fashion shows a month. But this is a future goal.

* Designers and prospective models that speaks spanish will have their own fashion shows as well, handled by EntreModelos Agency, commanded by Arlene Lisle; a SL and RL model. - Los disenadores y modelos prospectos que hablan espanol tendran sus propios fashion shows tambien pero manejados por la Agencia de Modelos EntreModelos comandada por Arlene Lisle una modelo de Sl y de RL.

If you are one of our designers or if you would like to become a model dont miss this opportunity. I am doing this for free so designers dont have to pay a penny for participating. This will give you exposure. In addition those aspiring models will have here the chance to get experience, to learn; to improve so hopefully a formal agency can hire you at any time.

I dont have standards, because Fashion Trend is not a modeling agency. For me anybody that would like to model can do it. Just that maybe will need to follow some tips about skins or poses ; maybe. I dont care if you are curveous, skinny, or big. You want to model? can you wear nicely what is given to you? Then you can be with us. In the process you will learn what is better for you; how to improve yourself; your image; how to handle the catwalk, tricks and tips. By this, agencies can use our events to check models and hire you if they want. Also you could end up being formally hired by a designer to show their creations at their shops.

Fashion Trend is a group that seek the best designers; the best customers and the best members and will help you with your business and with your dreams. What we will ask in return? That you succeed. That will be our reward.

I hope that all of you support me in this goal making all your friends knows about us and about the event and attending.

Thanks and will be hearing soon this and more details with a notice to the group.

About our up-coming Fashion Show

Hi!

First of all I want to thank all the members that have responded to the announcement about a Fashion Show for the group. I want to take this space to explain our vision of the group and our mission. Then will explain how I will like this Fashion Show to be.

Our Mission is to be the best advertising group that be totally different from other advertising groups. An Unique group that gives satisfaction not only to designers but to members or any person that needs us to evolve in SL to achieve his/her dreams and goals.

Our vision is to be a very special group with participation of all the members to help each other in achieving our goals and dreams. Getting involved all together to make this a live group; having events, supporting each other and growing together through the path that SL puts in front of us.

In our group everybody gets rewards; members including designers gets gifts from time to time from other designers; Designers get the reward of reaching more people that are potential buyers that will result in business growing. Also they have the reward of having more exposure through our blog. In addition, we will support them in events like fashion shows; huntings or whatever they have or need. On top of all this; with the fashion show events another venue open for those who aspire to become a model and will pursue a career in that area. All this with the members participation and shopaholics having fun. I know will not be easy and will probably takes time but I promise we can do this together. So invite now your friends to the group and stay in it because it is worthy and please support our designers first of all. Remember this; not everything that is good is expensive but also not everything that is not expensive is good. So our designers first when you look for something. We have really good designers with very good and affordable prices.

ok now about the Fashion show. I want to train the models first. I want to be sure that all the models females of males know how i want the walk to be done. At what point to stop; to turn and for how long a pose will be held. I want all the models to know how to prepare folders to change fast from one outfit to another. I want this to be very similar to a real fashion show in terms of the way models move around the runway. I also want the designer to walk the runway at the end of his/her turn along with his/her models. Then we will have the next designer and so on. Once that is clear and handled we will discuss type of poses needed (tips about it); look recommendations (skin, hair, nails etc) and then i will contact the designers to set rules about how many outfits per designers; how many models per designers and they will pick the models, date and time for the event.

Every model that shows real interest and commitment will have a new role in the group as model. The Title will be FashTrend Top Model. The pay for you to participate will be determine by the designer that hires you. It could be money; maybe you can keep the outfit you model or both. who knows. I will not intervene in those arrangements so that is something that the designers will decide individually. The only thing i can Assure you as model is the experience you will get.

If by any chance not all the designers can participate in this first fashion show or not all the available models; then you will be ready for the next one. I know that if i have 10 designers interested will be very agonizing having a fashion show with lets say 8 presentation by designers that can last no more than 2 hours. In my opinion 2 hours is the maximum a fashion show should last. People get tired, bored and some prefer to go and do other things like hanging out with friends etc. So to have everybody's attention; 2 hours should be the maximum time for the fashion show. So we need to decide how many designers will do this first one counting the time for each pose in every turn that does not go over 120 minutes.

After we are done with it; we can have a get together in a place that we can pick up in advance and flood it with our massive presence lol. That would be very funny getting all together with the group tags to a club lets say and just taking over the place dancing and chatting out loud and getting attention lol. I dont know; you can suggest other ideas if you have any.

We need to know each other in person. Not that i will accept everybody's friendship or designer will do that, but will be nice to meet all of us and members have the chance to meet the designers they love in person and hang out with them a little. I mentioned about the friendship thing because can u imagine my friend list with almost 1000 people? No way hahahaha. So please we can hangout as group but dont (all of u) offer your friendship please. I am anyway available for whoever want to talk to me always; so keep friendship as a treasure for those that you are in contact with frequently; in a daily or weekly basis. Inventory and friend list need to be controlled guys; remember that. :)

I hope to be able to, today or tomorrow, call the first meeting with models. There is a person that offered her experience to help us out with this and also a DJ. So we will be fine and it will be lot of fun. I love you!! and hope you support us in this. Thanks.

Interview with DaQueenB Houston

Hi guys!

I haven't been online as much as I would love to, due to some RL situations; but everything is getting better now so I hope to be online as usual really soon. Nevertheless you can always contact us using our email which is fashion.trend@live.com. If you dont find me online or I have been offline for several days; talk to Lunna Merlin. She can be more than happy to assist you. She is owner of the group too.

Ok so here we go with our 3rd interview. I am so happy doing this because is a way not only to get to know better our designers but also a way to find inspiration.

DaQueenB Houston is one of the Fashion Trend Designers, so most of you probably are already familiar with her business. But let's roll and start reading about her.

Q. WHAT IS YOUR SL NAME?
R. DaQueenB Houston

Q. WHEN YOU STARTED PLAYING SL?

R. Mid-2005

Q. WHERE DID YOU HEAR ABOUT SL FOR FIRST TIME?

R. 2005

Q. WHAT BROUGHT YOU TO COME TO SL?

R. A friend was leaving TSO and was selling his items there. So I created a SL account to
Pay him for some items I was buying from him here in Lindens. ......Never left!

Q. NOW THAT YOU ARE A BUSINESS PERSON IN THIS WORLD, WHAT IS THE NAME OF YOUR BUSINESS AND HOW YOU DECIDE THAT NAME FOR IT?
R. I came up with my name "Da"-first part of my name,"Visioness"-female visionary and
my visions I had of becoming a good designer here one day.

Q. DID YOU COME HERE THINKING OF BECOMING A DESIGNER SINCE THE BEGINNING OR IT HAPPENED LATER AFTER WEEKS IN THE GAME? TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT THAT.

R. It happened later for me. I spent the first year or so partying like it was 1999!...Then
I opened a mall and was always so impressed the way my merchants had things all nice
and fancy looking. I then decided to take a freebie sofa and tear it apart and see how
it was made...I thought to myself, "Hmmm I wonder can I make one"?......and that was
the start....Originally starting making furniture and went on later to shoes.

Q. WHAT EXACTLY YOU DO AS DESIGNER i MEAN WHAT YOU CREATE?

R. I make womens shoes for now but am still in the learning process on that as well. Im
hoping to carry a line of Mens footwear in the future.

Q. DO YOU THINK HAS BEEN HARD TO BE RECOGNIZED AS DESIGNER AND HAVING AN INCREASE IN YOUR SALES?

R. Very Much so!..Fashion is Sl is very competitive. But I don't mass produce my
creations either. I kinda like it being still more of a hobby for me as opposed to being a
Job here. But should I ever be fully discovered, it will be most welcomed.

Q. FROM WHERE YOU GET YOUR INSPIRATION TO CREATE, TO DESIGN; THE MUSA?

R. Just was a brainstorm one day.

Q. DO YOU HELD ANY OFFICIAL TITLE THAT SHOW YOU AS A MASTER IN WHAT YOU DESIGN? I MEAN A TITLE GIVEN TO YOU BY ANY SL ORGANIZATION OR SCHOOL?

R. No...hope one day I can achieve a "MasterBuilder" status.

Q. DO YOU THINK IS HARD THE COMPETITON HERE AS DESIGNER? WHY?

R. It is very hard because there are so many talented designers as well as newcomers to
the game that have awesome talent. The trick is to find the right creation that will just
dominant and grab the buyers eyes.

Q. FOR HOW LONG HAS YOU BEEN DESIGNING HERE PROFESSIONALY? TELL US A LITTLE HOW YOU HAVE EVOLVED.

R. I began the shoe designing the late summer of 2006. I started out using an inworld product for my first creations, again...i took those apart as i did the freebie sofa lol...Well i then began playing with numbers until i came up with a better looking shoe. I just kept going from there. Now I am exploring other avenues to bring my shoe designs up to the Master Shoe Designers standards one day. I am learning 3D modeling prgms to help me in this...(Gonna be a while before I achieve that one) hehe

Q. DO YOU THINK YOUR DESIGNS ARE DIFFERENT AND UNIQUE? WHY? EXPLAIN A LITTLE.

R. Well, I build on the bias so to speak...I make sure to steer away from looking at whats
"HOT" in the footwear community here and just bring it from my old skull.

Q. DO YOU HAVE TIME TO HAVE FUN? HOW DO YOU BALANCE YOUR SL AS DESIGNER WITH YOUR SL AS A NORMAL RESIDENT?
R. I spent most of this year not building and just relaxing here...My favorite past time is
playing pizza with my friends or just a good voice chat with the girls.

Q. IT IS POSSIBLE TO HAVE A ROMANCE AND BEING A DESIGNER AT THE SAME TIME? WHY ? HOW YOU HANDLE OR WOULD HANDLE THAT SITUATION?
R. Well, (whew your deep Madonna)....I did do the "SL Marriage" thing for my first time
this year. Yes it is possible to have a romance as a designer but not something I am
particularly into. The one marriage was fun of course but i'd rather been building most
of those days as opposed to being romanced. However it was fun to do.

Q. ANY ADVICE OR RECOMMENDATION YOU WANT TO GIVE TO OTHER DESIGNERS, BUYERS OR RESIDENTS?
R. Yes...Advice to designers, be mindful that the RL economy is beginning to take its
toll here in SL so we all need to understand that as our sales may drop some at times.
Buyers, PLEASE be careful and know what your buying as Content Creation theft is on
the rampage here. Please try and study your favorite designers and learn their styles of
creating things so that if your inworld and see something that is fraudulent, you can
report it via Abuse Report to Linden Labs. Designers work very hard in their trades to
bring the consumers the lovely items.
Thanks to all that have supported me over my time here as a shoe designer!...Much Love
DQB

It has been really owesome for me knowing all these stories about our designers. It shows that anyone that really wants to become a designer here has lot of tools and ways to do what they want. Could it be using available tutorials; tearing apart all permisions stuff and learning from it or trying to learn the programs that are available for everybody. Some are for free. So if you want to be a designer; keep reading the interviews we are posting and one of these stories will be your inspiration. So maybe one day you can be part of our designers' group and be interviewed here as well.

Getting to Know our Sascha Frangilli

Hi my Top Fashion. Here is our second interview with the great designer Sascha Fangilli from Sascha Designs. Sascha selected to place her story in a synopsis and I think it is worthy to read. She is an example of what a person can achieve when determination is on the mind. Looking for your goals pay dividends. Sascha now is one of the most recognized clothe designers in Second Life. So here she is:
__________________________________
Here is the synopsis of me…..
I came to SL in November 2006 by sheer coincidence. I had never played any online games, but a RL friend told me that if I wanted to see something addictive, I should download Second Life. I laughed and tried his bluff. Oops… it is addictive, very addictive! I am from Holland and quite down to earth, and I do see SL as a fun thing and when people tend to take SL too seriously, lie or have a certain attitude, I fly away from them at 100 km per hour. Get real!

When I entered SL, I also invited my RL partner (MikeyTwo Frangilli) and fairly soon he had made enough money to buy land and set up a ballroom in SL. So I wandered around, bought large amounts of dresses and hair, waved at people and after a few months got a bit bored with that. I am very happy to be online together with my RL partner (though we do not live together, we see eac hother during the week on Second Life). For fun times, I have created a second avatar so I can also have fun without having to be “Sascha” all the time.Bare with me, I had no experience whatsoever with graphic designs (besides downsizing a picture in Paint), so I bought the “Business in a box - dresses” as I had fallen in love with all the ballroom gowns that I saw. I wanted to make them too! But I was totally horrified with what I had acquired (these dresses were awful) and started searching for new textures to put on the flexified skirts. These dresses were not what I had in mind ….. Then I bought the Looprez from Ged Larsen and my mind went berserk by the realization of the potential that I could create here.Early summer 2007 I downloaded Photoshop on my pc and I suddenly realized I had one hell of a serious problem. No graphic background and no person sitting next to me explaining what I should do. Slowly, very slowly…. but surely, I got more experience in Photoshop and it took me nearly 6 months to get a bit of grip on the whole PS thing. Believe me, I swore a lot!
Early 2008 I discovered several applications on PS that made me be able to ‘travel beyond’ to what I had done before. I opened my main store in March 2008 with a small collection of ballroom gowns and within 3 months, I had to upsize twice my land/store; business was growing much quicker than I anticipated! At that time I had to quickly decide upon a name and came up with the very uninspiring name Sascha’s Designs, hahaha. And yes, it is hard to get more known in Second Life with all the wonderful competitors around, but word of mouth does do wonders.
I must admit that I find a bit hard to mix my RL child, partner and work with my SL work. It is quite demanding to run a SL store, host each week a different designer/fashion show at Mikey’s club, be sociable and to make new dresses as well. So I got my friend as a manager (Sapphire Teebrook), 2 other girls (SkyAngel Janus and Anika Heartsdale) and a photographer (Laurent Vesta) who help me in so many ways. I get so many IM’s from not only customers but also plenty of people offering things, fashion shows etc. that sometimes I am a bit overwhelmed with everything.
I am a normal person in RL; I like the occasional glass of red wine or Jupiler beer - LOL, I fart, I like fashion but am not an ultra fashionable chick that follows all the latest fashion (though I love high leather boots). I prefer to buy clothes that can last me a few years and I have put this preference into my SL gowns too. You can still wear my gowns in a couple of years (so to speak, unless LL comes up with a complete new building tool) as they are timeless and not made after the latest fashion quirk.

X Sascha Frangilli

This is the Real Sascha.

Now Enjoy some of her best creations. She has a lot of beautiful gowns so I bet there is something for every taste at her store.

Divanation
Grandiosa
Feel free to post your comments. I hope you enjoyed reading her story. See you with the next one. Who would be? I still don't know. This is random pick; remember.

Interview with Izira Kirkorian - a Second Life Master Jeweler

As I promised to all of you; our group will not only be about receiving notices. I will also put an effort for all of you be able to get to know our designers in other ways; as person, as Human Being. They will be sharing with us their experiences; goods and bads, to help us learn and understand the nature of their businesses. I hope you enjoy this very first Interview with our SL Master Jeweler Izira Kirkorian.

FashTrend Interview - iZa boutique – Oct. 16, 2008
Q. WHAT IS YOUR SL NAME?
R. Izira Kirkorian
Q. WHEN DID YOU START PLAYING SL?
R. I started playing SL Jan 18, 2006 and fell in love with it the first day.
Q. WHERE DO YOU HEAR ABOUT SL FOR FIRST TIME?
R. I was surfing the web and just kind of stumbled onto the website.
Q. WHAT BROUGHT YOU TO COME TO SL?
R. SL appeared to be a very interesting premise… it had wonderful graphics! And I knew that when I learned how to manipulate it correctly it would be the first program I could include my own creations. And if that wasn’t enough, it encouraged you to have your own business!
Q. NOW THAT YOU ARE A BUSINESS PERSON IN THIS WORLD WHAT IS THE NAME OF YOUR BUSINESS AND HOW YOU DECIDE THAT NAME FOR IT?
R. Actually my business name is iZa boutique, I used my own nick-name because I wanted my students to be able to remember it and find it easily.
Q. DID YOU CAME HERE THINKING OF BECOMING A DESIGNER SINCE THE BEGINNING OR IT HAPPENED LATER DURING YOUR WEEKS AT THE GAME? TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT THAT.
R. I did not come here planning to be a designer. When I first got here I was lucky enough to get directed to a wonderful school my very first day. I rarely left this school for the first 4 - 6 weeks! If I did it was usually only to take a class at another school. By the end of two months I had taken in the range of 300 classes on every subject the schools offered and requested to become a teacher and give back to the community what I had received. I was soon approved to teach by LL and I just continued to build... finding I had a great love for Nano-prims!
Q. WHAT EXACTLY YOU DO AS DESIGNER i MEAN WHAT YOU CREATE?
R. Well I am first a jeweler :)... I adore making jewelry, silks, shoes, and accessories as well. I have begun to branch out, I have made some clothing, even made a couple of hair styles, but right now I am very into making my own skins and find it is a lot of fun!
Q. DO YOU THINK HAS BEEN HARD TO BE RECOGNIZED AS DESIGNER AND HAVING AN INCREASE IN YOUR SALES?
R. Business is never easy, especially as we are in a global market here. I think you first have to judge your success by whether you are doing what you enjoy, and then be realistic about what you consider success is as well. Usually in business you are considered successful if you make a profit within 5 years... here if you can support your business costs and still have some fun too... I would have to call that successful.
Q. FROM WHERE YOU GET YOUR INSPIRATION TO CREATE, TO DESIGN; THE MUSA?
R. Well to get a feeling for upcoming styles I look to current fashion shows around the world, I also try to go to as many in-world fashion shows as possible... but my actual inspiration - that comes from my dreams.
Q. DO YOU HOLD ANY OFFICIAL TITLE THAT SHOW YOU AS A MASTER IN WHAT YOU DESIGN? I MEAN A TITLE GIVEN TO YOU BY ANY SL ORGANIZATION OR SCHOOL.
R. Yes actually I am a Master Jeweler... I was one of the first Master Jewelers in SL (fall of 2006) and was given the title by First Page from TUi. She also happens to be the owner of the first school I worked for as an instructor back then, and I am still associated with her school. My school, MJC, is associated with First's TUi thru their career courses program. Without First's influence I would not be where I am today, many people owe their start in SL to her.
Q. DO YOU THINK IS HARD THE COMPETITON HERE AS DESIGNER? WHY?
R. Yes the competition increases everyday. As the influx of people, and talent, increases, it is more difficult to find any one way to reach the populous. (When I first started 3,000 people online at time would create issues…lol.) Of course that is also true in the real world. So you need to be creative in your method of getting the word out about yourself, and your product.
Q. FOR HOW LONG HAS YOU BEEN DESIGNING HERE PROFESSIONALY? TELL US A LITTLE HOW YOU HAVE EVOLVED.
R. To start I was not a jewelry store but a boutique where you could purchase items that we had made in my classes. Since I started taking classes my first day, I began building my first day - I had land and a building of my own within 3 weeks. Then as I began to teach I would teach a class on making a chair... actually it was a series of classes on making an entire front room set... then I would also have that set for sale in my shop - but with special textures I had made myself in GIMP. As an instructor I taught classes because I wanted to help others learn as I had learned… anyway, as my classes evolved from swimming pools, to furniture, to Fairie Lights, to jewelry… I found many people that wanted to purchase my jewelry. So by the fall of 2006 I had focused on jewelry. I absolutely love being creative in SL!
Q. DO YOU THINK YOUR DESIGNS ARE DIFFERENT AND UNIQUE? WHY? EXPLAIN A LITTLE.
R. I do make a lot of the classics; such as the pearls for weddings, and the diamond encrusted tiaras, but I also have a fun side which would include my StarShine series with the sparkly stones and dangly stars, my shoes covered in flowers, my watches that tell time from your own time zone... I also make some pretty intricate designs such as my Promises set and a personal favorite is a Men’s ring I designed that is based in part on the design of Gandalf’s ring – you would have to see the chaining design embedded around the ring, took a lot of planning to make that design. I also take very good care of my customers… without them I would not have a business. If a client requests something special… a texture change, an added charm, a different fit… I am always glad to accommodate their needs. Sometimes there is a fee involved depending upon their needs… but I always try to be fair and to give them what they want. This is a fairytale world; here you can have what you cannot have in the real world… I enjoy giving that to someone.
Q. DO YOU HAVE TIME TO HAVE FUN? HOW DO YOU BALANCE YOUR SL AS DESIGNER WITH YOUR SL AS A NORMAL RESIDENT?
R. Sometimes yes… most times no. I not only run my boutique, I also run a very exclusive school for Master Jewelers which has an intensive 16 week program for designers. I also have a busy real life that requires my attention but when I do have time to just go out and have fun I tend to turn to music here. I am very lucky to have Speelo Snook as a very good friend… in real life he, Marx Loeb, was just inducted into the AZ Blues Hall of Fame this past weekend! Everyone should listen to him whenever they can – he is the most awesome drummer ever and plays regularly with Tone Uriza. He also has the best DJ gig's in SL. I also go listen to Tone Uriza (rl Tony from Tony & The Torpedoes) play some really HOT blues, or Zaphod Theas (rl Allan Dawson) play a varied range of original acoustic and electric live rock. SL is very lucky to have the talents of these musicians, and others, so readily available, with their real life musical experiences translated to the SL audience.
Q. IT IS POSSIBLE TO HAVE A ROMANCE AND BEING A DESIGNER AT THE SAME TIME? WHY? HOW YOU HANDLE OR WOULD HANDLE THAT SITUATION?
R. Of course I think it would be possible, as I have seen it time and time again successfully. However is that what I am looking for in SL? No... I am not actively looking for a relationship in SL. That being said, I would also not walk away from the possibility. I think a relationship in SL would be fabulous, interesting, and extraordinary! - Both appealing and challenging. I know I am looking for a Knight to ride in on his white horse with a fairy tale ending… not very realistic… but stranger things have happened- And in SL anything is possible!
Q. ANY ADVICE OR RECOMMENDATION YOU WANT TO GIVE TO OTHER DESIGNERS, BUYERS OR RESIDENTS?
R. Be yourself, be fair, treat others as you would like to be treated... and above all else remember to HAVE FUN!!!
Now I will share with you some pictures of her best creations.

Thanks izira for taking the time to answer these question and share a little about you with us. We do appreciate that. Now all of you know that Izira has a School for those interested in creating so visit her main store and apply to become a student if you really want to pursue a career here as Jeweler.

Next; Interviews with our designers

Please, stay tuned because we will be interviewing our designers one by one; little by little. We have one interview ready with a SL Master Jeweler that is one of our designers. I am just waiting for the pics to be able to place it here. Some RL situations are having me a little offline more than usual but this week I hope to catch up with you and keep the blog updated with the latest news. This group will be a special one. We have several projects that will put in place but we are getting organized to start that. The interviews project has begun so soon here, you will know your favorite designer a little bit more as persons; Human Biengs and know how they evolved to become what they are now in this magnificent society.

Despite Lunna and I are bilingual she handle better the spanish language and I handle both. so I will be in charge of english interviews while she will be in charge of spanish one. I will do my best to have the interviews translated but i can not assure I will have the time for that. But I will try.

Hugs and thanks for your interest in our group and for your support.

Fashion Trend begun its blog

Hi fashionistas of SL. I started this blog with the hope to give you here information about the reasons for our existence and about what you love more; fashion & trends. Here, Lunna and I plan to keep you updated with not only what is recent in our group but also events that you may be interested in. Also, I plan to conduct several interviews with our designers so you can know then better as a person and a little of their history in our SL society. We will post the rules eventually here and expect that you come and share with us your comments and thouths in a very nice and respectful way; of course.

Lunna manages better the spanish language (she speaks english too) while I am fully bilingual so; my posts will be in english while hers will be in spanish. Why we would like to have a dual language spot? Because these are two languages that are spoken around the world in many many places. So we want to have you with us; spanish and english speakers. If there is a spanish entry; that is intended for the spanish members. If i think that english speakers need to know about it; i will make an equal entry in english so you dont miss the information.

Some of our designers speak english and spanish but others just one or the other. So we want them to be part of us but they need to be interviewed in their language. :) that is understandable.

We also dont want the english speaker community to miss the nice creations that other spanish designers do and viceversa just because of a language barrier. We are here trying to knock down that barrier to be all together as part of the fashion community that has one language; been trendy, elegant, beautiful, gorgeous and all the good things that we like no matter from where we are. In addition; the english language is well known in other countries where the primary language could be let say japanese, russian, chinesse, korean etc. So we need all of you no matter from where you are if you are a good creators and designers.

Fashion Trend will open its doors not only to "avatar wear" creators; we need those magnificent builders that makes fabulous houses, furniture and stuff that all of us need at some point; that includes and are not limited to poses, dances etc. Maybe they will not post every week because you cant create houses or furniture every week but if they apply and have the quality we are looking for, and are accepted, the will have a day assigned. When they are ready to launch something nice and new, they will post. So by that u can save pictures and landmarks and go shopping immediately or at a later date when you are ready for it.

This is just a first post to give you a sense of who we are and what we are looking for. Big hugs and invite your friends to join us now that it is still free to join. If you are a designer or builder and think that you create quality stuff; send me or Lunna Merlin an IM and we will gladly send you the rules.
